A Taste of Your Time
Paddle Boarding Mini Expedition
Reconnect through the rhythm of the river.
Revive your soul with the healing power of water.
Rewild your inner child and sense of adventure.
We’ll arrive at our secret location by paddle board, launching near Shoreham town centre and paddling ourselves up river. Approximately an 8-10km paddle, we’ll travel in the same direction as the tide, helping carry us on our way. You’ll be guided by Cami on this gentle river paddle and invited to take in the sights, sounds, and stillness of this stunning riverway. We’ll pause to rest, breathe, and drop into moments of mindfulness before arriving at our end destination nestled in South Down National Park. And then on Sunday, we’ll do it all again in reverse, paddling back to our launch point and arriving back feeling like a whole new person.
Leaving you gently challenged, refreshed and having been fully immersed in nature.
Sound Healing
Reconnect with you through grounded, immersive sound.
Revive your system and restore your natural balance.
Rewild your inner rhythm and release what no longer serves.
We are vibrational by nature—each part of us working in harmony and balance, until life pulls us out of sync. Through sound, the body is gently guided back into alignment, relaxing and releasing energies that no longer serve our greater good.
Led by Cami and Maria, you’ll be taken on a deeply restorative journey. Immersed in soothing tones and healing frequencies, inviting your body and mind to soften and settle. If the weather allows, we may even enjoy an alfresco moonlit sound experience enjoying the starlit canopy of the South Downs Dark Skies.
Leaving you grounded, spacious, and gently recalibrated.
Yin Yoga, Meditation & Morning Qi Gong
Reconnect with your body.
Revive through gentle movement and rest.
Rewild your spirit with outdoor practice held by nature.
You’ll be gently guided through a Yin Yoga flow and meditation by Rainie working with the five elements - the Ether, Earth, Water, Air and Fire. Inspired by the changing seasons and nature’s wisdom, Rainie blends mindful movement, steady strength and deep rest. And in the morning we’ll be eased into the day with Qi Gong guided by Maria. Tap into the energy of the ether to help awaken the body and mind ready for the day.
Leaving you rested, connected and deeply revitalised.
Nature Connection & Gentle Guided Walk/Hike
Reconnect with nature and your inner creative soul
Revive your inner explorer with a guided nature walk in the South Downs
Rewild your soul and tap into your wild wisdom with nature
After easing into the day with Qi Gong and a nourishing breakfast we’ll enjoy some fun creative activities working with nature and enjoying a gentle walk/hike into the surrounding South Down National Park. Nothing strenuous - a gentle amble inviting you to really, truly connect with our surroundings whilst having some fun on the way.

This event isn’t suitable for complete beginner paddle boarders. Ideally you will have learned to paddle ahead of the event and are comfortable to paddle for up to 4 hours either standing or on your knees, or a mix of both! If you can self rescue un-aided that would be super but not to worry if not - the team are on hand to support and we may even practice this so everyone has the opportunity to learn and develop new skills. If you’re unsure, there’s the option to join a beginner or progression paddle lesson with Cami ahead of the weekender to find your paddle feet (at extra cost but there is a 20% discount for all Water & Wellness Weekender guests). Drop a note in the booking form and Cami will be in touch to discuss.

This is a mini paddle boarding expedition experience - the invitation is for the group to paddle themselves and all their overnight gear to our overnight camp and back home again the next day. The camp will be set up for us ahead of our arrival. There’s no need to bring loads of things–just yourself, your paddle clothing, a dry bag filled with water & sun cream, an outfit and footwear that’s suitable for our land-based activities, PJs and toiletries. Everything else, including bedding and yoga mats, will be provided. We’ll paddle up with the tide on Saturday 1 August and back with the tide in the afternoon on Sunday 2 August. Easy peasy.
-
We like to keep our groups intentionally small and have a maximum capacity of 12 places available - this helps to nurture a comfortable, cosy and intimate feeling among our guests. Guests will share bell tents with 2 others. If you’d rather camp out on your own there are options to bring your own 1-2 person tent but we can only accommodate this for a couple of tents. The price will remain the same. Please let us know in the booking form if this is your preference.
-
It’s totally up to you if you’d prefer to come along on your own or with friends. The bell tents accommodate 3 people with a comfy single bed per person. For any solo guests the SUP & Soul team will ensure you feel welcome and at ease but rest assured these events are all about helping to build a sense of community and ensure everyone leaves feeling like they’ve made new friends.
-
The only weather types that might hinder our plans are thunder storms, strong winds and torrential rain. Otherwise we’ll plan to paddle. Should the forecast not work in our favour we can still walk along the river, which has a gorgeous and accessible footpath all the way to our camp. All will not be lost and we’ll still enjoy a mini-expedition experience. A decision on this will be made at least 48 hours before the event and communication sent to all guests. Once at our camp we will have covered areas to rest and relax and enjoy all that nature throws at us! This is meant to be a rewilding weekend after all.
-
Nope. All bedding is provided by the venue. Please do advise if you have any allergies so we can inform the venue with the information ahead of the weekend.
-
Yes - there are 1-2 spaces in our camp available for anyone who would prefer to sleep alone or with friends. There are limited spaces though so please let us know asap to bag yours. As we’ll be paddling to our camp and back again you can either carry your gear on your board (for the complete self guided paddle expedition experience!) or we can arrange for your gear to be taken to our camp separately. Just let us know if your booking form.
-
Tea, coffee, hot water to keep us going throughout the day.
2x 2-3 hour hosted river paddle board trips hosted by Camilla, an experienced, qualified and fully insured ASI SUP instructor who is outdoor first aid trained.

Magic and mystery. If we told you absolutely everything where would the delightful element of surprise be! But rest assured, there’s no scary surprises - just lots of loveliness and care.
Guided morning (gentle) hike around our South Downs camp in all its stunning glory.
-
Transport to our paddle launch location and parking. There is overnight parking available that’s free. Closer to the time we will try to help coordinate liftshares to our launch location as well. And if you really aren’t comfortable brining your belongings on the board then we can arrange for these to be collected and brought to the camp.
Wetsuit hire - we have a small amount of wetsuits available - if you need one let us know in your enquiry form and we can try to arrange.
Personal travel insurance - it is recommended that all guests have their own travel insurance that includes local activities in the UK, such as paddle boarding and gentle hiking.
